Eight students out of the total number nominated were named Student of the Month by their teachers. This month’s theme was academic excellence. The voting procedure was identical to that of February’s. Teachers were given a theme, asked to nominate students and voted from the list of nominees. Junior Lane Ward was a recipient of the award. “I feel very honored to have been chosen for the Student of the Month award concerning academic excellence. It’s a great feeling, knowing that you are regarded highly among teachers and are being recognized for your hard work,” Ward said.
