More businesses, more options

New businesses appear in nearby townships

Driving around neighboring townships, people are getting used to what is around. Over the past year, many new businesses have appeared in nearby townships such as New Sewickley trying to offer new things. More businesses have moved into these neighboring townships like New Sewickley and Cranberry. Though not all of them are here yet, some are making an entrance to the area soon.

One of these new businesses that have already settled in Cranberry township is Pulp. Pulp is a smoothie and juice restaurant that also sells salads and wraps. Pulp only has 19 locations, and the Cranberry location is it’s most recent. This restaurant came to Cranberry Township this past year and has been handling the new location very well.

According to reviews, people have been loving it so far. With a 4.6 out of 5.0 star rating, the reviews are almost all positive. Some of the reviews consisted of comments like, “Great smoothies and atmosphere,” and, “I love this place.”

Another new restaurant that has settled in Cranberry Township is Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. This restaurant first opened its doors in Cranberry in May of 2017. It serves a lot of common meals, such as steak, fish, chicken and all the sides to go with them.

The ratings have been holding at a 4.3 out of a 5.0 since they opened their doors. Many of the comments reference their experience as an, “excellent dining experience,” and, “very good food.” Some reviews have also talked about the service like, “It is a little slow.”

Outside of Cranberry, a new restaurant has replaced Four Corners Cafe in New Sewickley Township. 68’s Feed Mill has replaced the cafe and now has become very popular. This new restaurant has now become a breakfast and lunch place with an old-fashioned style. They serve anything from pancakes and eggs to Rubens and country fried steaks. They opened their doors over the 2017 summer and have been frequently visited these past months.

Reviews have reached to 4.4 out of 5.0 stars since it’s appearance. Many of the comments have come back as reviews like, “Great country feeling,” and, “Great food and service.” Another review adds, “the parking lot is always busy,” referring to the rush of people that have been swarming this cafe.

Plans for a Cracker Barrel have also recently been started. They will plan to open their doors in early 2018.. After over 5,000 reviews on Cracker Barrel, the average is set around a 4.0 rating out of 5.0 stars. This gives hope to the one being built in Cranberry.
