He also pole vaults for the track team. Why does (s)he play: Turner says that he really enjoys participating in all of his sports. He likes swimming because it is a new experience for him and football because he has played for a couple of years. Who is his/her favorite coach: Turner says, “Shep, of course. What a dumb question.” His/her favorite professional athlete: His favorite athlete is Travis Pastrana because, “I like bikes.” His/her favorite memory of high school athletics: During his freshman year, Turner did well enough for pole-vaulting to make it to WPIALs. He said it was his favorite moment of high school athletics, because, “It was an all around good time.” But, too bad he fell on his first jump.
