The students of the month for April were awarded for their resiliency and ability to bounce back. Mrs. Ellen Hill, who is the coordinator of the Student of the Month award, believes that everyone has room to improve, no matter how good someone is at something. The award winners for this month exemplified the definition of resiliency in their academics and school life. Hill said that starting from the bottom can turn “from a weakness to a strength.” Much like previous months, the winners of the award were honored at the school board meeting.
