Soccer Team Poised For Another Playoff Run in 2009

If you missed the boys soccer team’s successful season last year, don’t fret!This year, the team is back with just as much pow and punch. The group of 21boys plan on continuing their amazing season last year. With a handful of newplayers, the team has a new outlook on the season. Captains Eric Gabrich, LukeMesing, and Tanner Mesing are confident about the team’s abilitiesh to make itto playoffs. “I’m very confident that we’ll be going to the playoffs this year,” TannerMesing commented. The boys have had a rigorous start with practicing the last month of summer andeveryday after school. So far, the hard work is paying off with two games undertheir belt. Both games were wins for Freedom, which makes them 2 – 0. Even atthe beginning of the season the new-comers are very satisfied with the way theseason is looking. “I’m excited for this season and excited for the playoffs,” freshman AnthonyKosis said. With their expectations high, the team plans on giving their fans something tocheer about. The rookies and veterans are cheering on the season with greatexcitement. “I’m expecting very good things to come out of this season,” senior BradPrinkey stated. So come on out to see the team make more memories this season.
