Better than Facebook: Pinterest

Pinterest is a place for people who are bored, stressed, constantly hungry or unsatisfied with their lives. Basically, this is a site for everyone. Luckily, I am one of those people. I make new things from Pinterest so often that I feel like a 1950s housewife. Between the baking recipes and the crafts, I am busy all the time. I truly believe that I have more interests and hobbies than anyone else in the world. I love to bake, cook, make crafts, work on my car, read, write, listen to music, play sports, color, scrapbook, take pictures, collect framed paintings and even do yoga. Pinterest is a way to incorporate all of those hobbies into your life in different ways. You can just double-click on the picture, and it will take you to the website. I’m surprised I have time to go to work or school, because I’m too busy making things for my dorm room and fattening up my brother with baked goods. In times of stress, Pinterest is an excuse to let the stress slip away from your mind. If you don’t have an account, I would highly suggest get-ting one. There is a humor section, which is as fantastic as Tumblr and 9gag combined, and a fitness aspect so that you can still fit in your clothes after making the millions of desserts that you found. You can make “boards” that you pin your favorite things to. Maybe you want to make sections for prom dresses, wedding planning, dorm room ideas, cooking, workouts and dieting! With Pinterest, anything is possible. The next time you have a big test and have studied for hours, take a break and let Pinterest teach you how to make copycat Texas Road-house rolls. Believe me, you won’t regret it.
