Twenty years from now, when each of us has graduated and moved on to our life’s pursuits, the memories of Freedom Area High School may have faded slightly. What better way to remember than by simply glancing at your finger? There are not many symbols of high school more lasting than that of a class ring. Students interested in purchasing their very own ring will be able to meet with a representative from Balfour on Wednesday, September30. Mike Kita, a representative, will be at our school during lunches and in the evening from 5-7:30PM. You will be able to look at actual ring models and find your ring size. Catalogs will also be available for browsing. Balfour offers a wide range of styles and personal touches that can make each ring individual. Traditional class rings have gem stones and display the graduation year, high school and interests of the student. There are also modern styles for girls that look like regular, fashionable rings. Expect to pay anywhere from $84 to $700, depending on the ring style and type of metal you choose. Buy a ring, and you can start wearing your Freedom pride on your finger .
