With winter in and spring soon on its way, clubs are starting to plan events. From fun field trips to dancing, clubs are getting active. The Spanish Club is going to have an ice skating field trip. The club is trying to go to the ice rink in downtown Pittsburgh. Only Spanish Club members can attend. “It is encouraged that everyone taking Spanish join Spanish Club,” Mr. Bohon said. Dues for the club are $1 and can be brought to Ms. Gudzan or Mr. Bohon. The club also made Christmas cards for Friendship Ridge Nursing Home in December. The drama club is back in swing. They are holding vocal, dialogue and dance practices. With “The Music Man” being the musical for this year, everyone is excited for a good start to a good show. Members of the show can go on Facebook and like the “Freedom Drama 11-12” page to keep up with any changes to the different practices. The Ski Club planned to go to Seven Springs Jan. 12 to ski and snowboard, but it was cancelled last minute and rescheduled for Jan. 13.
