Freedom Says Goodbye to Three Teachers

As we start off the new school year there have been some changes to the teachers. To the some of the students at Freedom High they will be missed. We say farewell to Ms. Rigotti a wonderful art teacher who has been feeding our minds with creativity and imagination. Another teacher would be Ms. Linden a great volleyball coach and a fluent French teacher. Last but not least Ms. Ruckert a first time Spanish teacher at freedom. Some of you probably don’t know Ms. Rigotti she was a previous art teacher who had a lot of talent and passed on her creative ways to her students. She put so much time and effort in the artwork she did. Ms. Rigotti worked as an art teacher for freedom for quite some time until she finally decided to retire last year. Some dedicated students of her’s were upset to find out that was planning on this. She was an outspoken women with a free spirit and expressed herself through her artwork student Lauran macon says. Ms.Rigotti spent her years helping students create wonderful brightly colored masterpieces that were displayed throughout the halls we walk and teaching them that art is art andyou should go for it. She spent her last year taking a couple of her students half way across the world to Italy so they could experience art and different cultures. Ms. Rigotti is an art teacher that will be missed very dearly. You walk in her class and are greeted with a delightful “Bonjour.” You see walls of her room decorated with pictures of France. We say Farewell toMissLinden and all around fun French teacher . Miss Linden was the type of teacher who knew how to make her class fun, but still was work. She’s theteacher who was always very hands on about her students work, and always had you playing a fun game that taught you about French. She had you do fun projects that took a lot of time and effort, but were always worth it. Because she always had you up and moving, the block always seemed to disappear. Miss Linden also coached volleyball for a year at Freedom. She was a coach that had inspired you to improve more and excel in what you do. She took pride in the volleyball team no matter the situation was she also coached middle school volleyball as well. Ms. Linden was and awesome volleyball coach, she always encouraged the team student and player Stephanie Dinello says. She continues on stating that Ms. Linden always had the team laughing at practices and she is really going to miss her as a coach. Ms. Linden has left us and now she is teaching at North Hills. We say Farewell to Ms. Ruckert a teacher who only taught a Freedom for one year. Students have said she was quite the Spanish teacher she spoke very fluent to her students. She was a nice teacher who was also tough on her students. She kept them moving forward striving them for more. She helped her students anyway possible. A former student of her’s Zeke Stroupe said “whenever he went to the Dominican Republic he used a lot of Spanish and understood enough to get around” thanks to Ms. Ruckert. Another former student of her’s Emma Wagner states that “she learned a lot from her taught her students well, and she is sad that the current freshmen don’t have her this year. To most of her students like Casey Avery she was a good for Spanish one and she will miss her. Not very many students know Ms. Ruckert, but all around she was a pleasant Spanish teacher. So as we say to the teachers that left Freedom Area High school Farewell and you will be missed by your students and even players.
