In the world of football, there is more than just long hours of practice and Friday night football games. Tension rose when some of the players received incorrect names and numbers for their jerseys. The jerseys were taken to get the players’ names and numbers printed on the back. When the jerseys were counted, they soon realized that not all the jerseys were there. This isn’t the first time something like this happened. Junior Allan-Michael Conforti said about last year, some of the jerseys went missing and the incorrect numbers got handed out to the underclassmen. They ended up having two players with the same number: 22. “As juniors and seniors, you’re guaranteed your name and number. New players or [new students] don’t have that guarantee,”said Captain Branden “Bubba” Heckman. Some were mad, but the veteran junior and seniors didn’t necessarily care, Conforti said.
