Mr. Langelli

Take a look in a classroom or down a hallway. What does each person within FHS have in common? It’s not hair color, intelligence or preference, so what could it be? Every member was born in the 20th Century, which is recently-hired Mr. Nate Langelli’s favorite time period. Langelli, a Geneva College and Clarion University graduate, is no novice when it comes to teaching. After teaching for three years at Wilson Christian Academy, he does not think coming into the school year late will be “too big of a challenge,” thanks to the “support system” and communication among teachers at FHS. Langelli is most looking forward to interacting with the students and jokes that he is does not have anything he is least looking forward to, though the answer may change in a few weeks. “Seeing the connections between the past and today” inspired him to take an interest in history itself. As a 1960s, Vietnam, AP US History and sociology teacher, the goal for these separate and distinct classes remains the same across the board for Langelli: “to leave my class confident that they know the material and are equipped with skills needed for life after school.” Langelli’s life outside of school includes his wife, Amy, who is a math teacher at South Side Area School District.
