One Step Closer

With a season record of 10-3, every member on the golf team has many reasons to be proud. This year, the team accomplished numerous achievements, including beating New Brighton in a tri-match. “I’m glad we were able to [beat New Brighton] because I really wanted to do this before I graduated,” Senior Brandon Bionda said. The team worked hard this year to get as far as they did, and everyone improved since last year, according to Bionda. “I think the team did very well this year. We were only one match short from the co-section champs, which is a huge improvement from anything I’ve seen,” Junior Jessica Canonge said. The golf team hopes that next year will be even better than this season. “Everyone has improved, but I’ve seen a lot of improvement in Kris [Skogsholm] and Patrick [Baker]. If they keep working and Jessica [Canonge] continues to do well, I think they have a very good chance of making playoffs next year,” Bionda said.
