Paper shortage plagues FHS

As of May 23, FHS had completely run out of white paper. FHS been using what is left of the colored paper, and supplies of that have been running scarce as well. FHS’s order amount for paper this year has been the same as usual; the high school just has been going through through it much quicker than normal. Paper use has skyrocketed recently.
“Two years ago I gave Conway Elementary 15 cases because we had way too much,” Secretary Mrs. Keener said.
A case holds about ten reams of paper, and each ream holds about five hundred sheets. Keener said that she began to notice that paper was low in quantity about three months ago.The reason as to why the high school has gone through so much paper this year remains unknown.
Having a lot of paper is essential for the learning process; teachers need it to print out worksheets and tests and students need it to print out assignments.
Since the shortage, some teachers had to change around assignments so that they didn’t have to use paper. For example, Mrs. Megan Boland, had to put the study guide for her Biology Two class final online instead of handing it out as a packet. To prevent this shortage from happening again the school plans to order more white paper for the next school year.
